But it gave me more time to craft! and I made lots of friends and I even got a job! I am a Stampin Up demonstrator (only recently)I meet lots of people who enjoy the same things as me and I take it totally at my own pace (because of my disability)

Thats what happened for me who would of thought at less that forty I was for the scrap heap and unable to work again! This may not be the answer for you but it is wonderful for me. it gives me something to do and craft for lol

Love and best wishes Dawn xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09454051870297280445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8631128873703531960.post-71426959339534154842009-05-01T11:22:00.000+01:002009-05-01T11:22:00.000+01:00Oh Caro sorry to hear this - it is really rotton I...Oh Caro sorry to hear this - it is really rotton I know - had a similar experience some years ago myself - had to have my thyroid removed and as it took the docs so long to get my thyroxine levels right, and I was off work for 3 months, and although I kept sending drs reports to work they reduced my hours to part-time and then offered me redundancy!!! but please remember - as one door closes......... another one opens, have faith and stay focused!!! hey........ just think of all the crafting you can be doing while you are getting better and waiting for that next job - Take heart - chin up and good luck - Carol xxxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8631128873703531960.post-73941694972648562862009-04-30T19:59:00.000+01:002009-04-30T19:59:00.000+01:00I'm so sorry to hear that Caroline & hope ...I'm so sorry to hear that Caroline & hope that it all works out for you - stay positive hun *big hug* Steph xxxStephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13650822123477593638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8631128873703531960.post-77320443594422496332009-04-25T23:50:00.000+01:002009-04-25T23:50:00.000+01:00Oh Caroline thats bad, you concentrate on getting ...Oh Caroline thats bad, you concentrate on getting yourself better.Thanx for visiting my blog.
Trish (-:Diamond Dollhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11911128202345595110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8631128873703531960.post-4250427459686271452009-04-25T13:46:00.000+01:002009-04-25T13:46:00.000+01:00:-( Caroline, I am so sorry to hear this. It seems very unfair that they can end your contract just like that. People can go on maternity leave for longer than that and still have a job to go back to.

I hope you have people looking after you.

Best wishes

Esme xEsmehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00167425599565929865noreply@blogger.com
