I have made this card for my best friend,

my husband. I coloured it using my prisma pencils

and used backing papers that complement

the stamped image.

I hope you like this card as much as I do.

I really enjoyed making this card,
I love all things sea/seaside/beach
and this is a superb digi image to use.

My first blog of 2013 and it is my DT make

for The Cupboard Trilogy. The theme

this month is lead by example and I chose to make

this lovely card using gilding flakes.

The snowflakes background is gilding flakes,

the image is stamped using wet glue, which

I then left to go tacky, cover liberally with the flakes,

remove most of the spare with the heel of your

hand and then buff into a high shine. Such a

fun backing to make. Then decoupaged the

vintage Santa image and finished the

card with some ribbon & a sentiment.
